No alert on my iPhone or my sisters in Oxfordshire - great !

Didn't get an alert on one phone, but the vodafone signal is non existant where we are. Two other phones on EE did alarm.

If you have an old 2G and  3G phone, the Alert only works on 4G and 5G smart phones

What is the point if only a few people get the alert? It seems it only works for those with the most up-to-date smartphones - blatant discrimination against the elderly and those less well off.

That's right - leap immediately to the 'blatant discrimination' card. Yawn. Give it a chance - there are bound to be hiccoughs which will hopefully get sorted. If they don't, complain then.P.S. I didn't receive the alert as it seems a good no. didn't.

Forgot about it and then suddenly my watch went mad WARNING WARNING and within mins my phone went off Thought on my watch had dialled 999 by mistake or something along those lines

One phone that was switched on alerted but I was surprised that another phone on the same network which was switched off had no record of a missed call or a text alert.

I was in a group of eight in a Berkshire pub. Three got alerts, the rest of us didn’t. Mine - O2 recent iPhone - wholly dormant

I switched mine off and when I switched it on after the alert I didnt get anything, text or otherwise.
