C9 Completed?

Is the C9 route from Chiswick Lane to Heathfield Terrace going to be finished to the same standard as Goldhawk Rod to Chiswick Lane?I have seen articles about the completed C9 cycle way in Chiswick, press announcements, events etc.The Goldhawk Rod to Chiswick Lane section seems to be well finished, but the central section still looks temporary and a bit of a mess, plastic wands, double bus shelters.  It would be good to see it finished to the same standard, has anything on this been released on completion plans?

One would like to hope so. Apparently one can sponsor a section if feeling benevolent and One Chiswick are giving it due consideration.

You’ve  been out of the equation for a while. Sorry there’s no fun in a divided community. Who was responsible for the knee jerk reactions at the beginning?I’ll leave you to work that one out. As for a religious insult I wasn’t aware I made one, as you said just a bit of fun on a Saturday afternoon. My remark was made in jest, and meant get back in your office, home, job, no insult intended.If you have been reading this forum over the last couple of years, you will have notice that some posters on hear have  posted some really not nice stuff.Which you or I haven’t been involved with so I’m not likely to start getting involved at this late stage. I’ve got enough on my plate at the moment to start slanging matches with  other posters, which end up counter productive.

Sponsorship sounds cool.  You sponsor a 100 meters and choose the colour.  Maybe one logo.  I’ll have the section outside the George, pale blue, Man City logo in the middle.  But I want a kerb on my section, no plastic wands.

C9 complete? How can that be? Katherine Dunne, the lead LBH councillor responsible for C9 and most of our road closures insisted it was temporary at the Chiswick Area Forum late last year. Was she lying?

No, it's permanent now and I've heard Councilor Biddolph is planting a cherry tree to celebrate the occasion at the upcoming Festival of Cycling referred to on the front page.
