Recorder sheet music/children’s annuals

Do you know anyone who plays recorders in groups? I volunteer at Oxfam Books in Turnham Green Terrace.  Currently we have a huge donation of chamber music (sheet music) for groups of recorders or flutes.  It’s mainly baroque composers. All separate parts there.   All very reasonably priced.  There is so much of it I don’t have most of it on display, so if you are interested in it please reply here and I can arrange a time when you can come and have a look. I have also set up a .99p box full of little sheet music gems. Old sheet music, (too) well-loved other sheet music etc.Also all the usual array of sheet mucus, from musicals’ vocal scores to instrumental music and children’s music.Come and have a look.In Children’s as well as the usual wide selection we currently have a lot of vintage annuals like Beano, Dandy, Topper etc from the ‘80s onwards.  £2.99 each.  And a whole cabinet full of vicarage/antiquarian children’s books.  All reasonably priced.

I wish there was more recorder playing in schools.  The recorder is such a good introduction to music - to learning to read music, playing in a group, in rounds and without having to lug a large and expensive instrument around with you.Nowadays you can also wash some recorders...  in a dishwasher Although I thought it was the top rack - here is a picture of some:https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/hcsb3d/simply_put_a_dishwasher_full_of_recorders/This way you could make sure that all the children always had clean recorders.  No more devastation with accidentally forgotten ones.The kind of music in schools that could so easily be sponsored...
