Local councillors unhappy Superloop not serving stops in Hounslow Borough

The X26 Express bus service used to serve Feltham Station but was rerouted in order to avoid traffic delays in Feltham which left it with no stops in the London Borough of Hounslow.The X26 could use the request stop outside the Feltham Swimming Pool ("Hanworth Air Park Leisure Centre and Library"). TfL's argument is that nobody would use it but in which case the Express bus would not be delayed. But this stop would give Hounslow residents a choice and for some a quicker journey to Hatton Cross and Heathrow or a quicker journey to Teddington, Kingston, Sutton and Croydon.

Nobody IS going to use it if it don't/won't stop in the borough and nobody knows it could/should!

Are you sure Rob? The provision of express bus services that will be fully accessible could be relevant to lots of people in Chiswick as none of our train and tube stations are step free. For those able to get to the Uxbridge Road for example the 607 plus X140 provides an alternate route to Heathrow.These services already exist however and the Superloop seems to be an investment in paint rather than new buses. It is hard to blame the Mayor given the financial constraints he is operating under but most people using buses on the Uxbridge Road would rather have the 427 back to its original route as opposed to a 607 with a white upper deck.
