Hillarys Blind repairs

I have vertical blinds bought some time ago from Hillarys Blinds. They will no longer close as the top 'runner' is stuck. Because they are out of guarantee Hillarys cannot help even though I said I will pay for one of their fitters to come out to fix them.  Would be grateful for any recommendations of how I can resolve this.  Many thanks.

I'd use a silicone spray for this. I have one a curtain maker left behind and it works a treat with this sort of problem and drawers that stick and sash windows too. It's called Siliglide.

Furniture polish works, too. I've used it on many chests of drawers, when the wooden drawers wouldn't open and close easily, and on curtain rails. Spray a little on a duster and run that along the stuck surface.
