I am sure a lot of people feel the same, I always watched his Battersea programmes and loved them. A truly good man. Snora, the fact that not a lot of people respond to posts doesn't mean they aren't interested, in case the penny hasn't dropped by now. Just that they don't have unlimited time on their hands.

Not just men, sadly. My lovely Mum died at 66. And thousands of so-called WASPI women born in the 1950s who saw their pensions increased by six years - with virtually no notice - to 66 have died before they could claim them. Although France has one of the lowest pension ages, and I don't approve of the level of destruction they have indulged in over the last few weeks, I do think we take too much dictatorship lying down in this country. Including from the awful Sadiq.
Paul O’Grady was clearly a lovely man and a great entertainer. I first encountered him long ago as Lily Savage which was delightful because of the skilled acting and the way he made Lily so real and believable in her outrageousness. He had this in common with Barry Humphreys (Edna Everage) and Steve Coogan (Pauline Calf), acts in which the humour and characterisation were equally important as the ‘drag’ elements. I also felt that these acts were very ‘inclusive’ and in no way disrespectful of women unlike say some of the material in Little Britain or other recent offerings I could name. Some may disagree.

Totally agree Nora and Claire should be ashamed of themselves this thread was about respect to a wonderful human being how they could descend into playground behaviour between themselves is beyond me. Says everything about them absolutely disgraceful.Paul was such a special human being who gave so much to both entertainment and animal welfare. We loved for the love of dogs he was the best presenter, Lily Savage was hilarious and so beautiful only Paul could pull that off. Rest easy beautiful man ❤️

Note that Nora had already paid tribute to Paul O'Grady before any of this silliness started.
