Apparently his car with outriders went along South Parade this Wednesday evening presumably to avoid the High Road traffic. His grandmother presumably tipped him off before she passed.

Not sure that would work because the scrofula cure thing is dependent on you being touched by an anointed monarch. So not only William but Charles wouldn't do you any good at the moment. Your choice is to wait until May and hope to catch the King stuck on the A4 on the way back to Windsor after the Coronation or antibiotics.
