Hartington Road PCN despite Resident Permit

Hi all, I just wanted to check if anyone else has recently received a PCN for driving down Hartington Road despite having a Resident Permit already issued Nov/2022? Were there any new restrictions introduced that tI'm not aware of?  Thank you :)

I have heard of it happening before.  You will need to appeal I am afraid.

For clarity, having a residents' permit doesn't in itself allow unrestricted access to Hartington Road, the vehicle needs to be registered with Hounslow on the relevant "white list". Similarly a vehicle can be on the white list without a residents' permit - usually because the resident in question has off-street parking at their address. If this is the first PCN issued and the route has been travelled since November it does sound like an error.

Permits aren’t actually issued, you’re simply on a list held by the council. If you have already registered then it’s simply a mistake, which does happen from time to time as Cecile mentions. Sounds like the PCN is worth appealing as simply an oversight in either scenario. All the best.

I've received a number of emails about this. Please make sure that when you get a new car, or move in, that you register your car on the site above. If you do receive a PCN, it's always worth appealing to the council, as I know a number have been overturned. I'm also going to look into how many tickets have been issued to residents who have permits, to see if there's any way that the council could simplify this process. I had discussions on this a while back, but they've fallen off the radar recently.
