It was a huge disappointment when Michael Nadra closed as it was definitely one of Chiswick's best restaurants. I've been taken to Cottura and thought it was superb with delicious freshly made pasta. As has previously been mentioned, the prices are reasonable too.The only reservation I have is that it duplicates a type of food where we already have in the area. Capri and Tarantella are also brilliant and a short walk away.

Thanks for the reviews Felicity and everyone else. Good to see the premises reopen. Michael Nadra has opened a restaurant in Primrose Hill (don't know if it opened after his restaurant in Chiswick shut its doors or if it was already open). Further away than Elliott Road obviously but it is highly thought of from what I've read.

I have managed to make a booking for tomorrow evening??? They had a diary with some other entries so they have maybe changed their policy. Looking forward to trying it.

Does anyone have the phone number please? I was trying to find a telephone number for the restaurant earlier today and couldn't get onto their website as 'server not found'. It might just be my internet I guess? It's too late for the lunch table I was hoping to book but it's definitely going to hamper reservations if there is no way of contacting the restaurant. I have tried to email them but have not yet had a response. Many thanks in advance

Tarantella is next door in Elliot Road, unless it's moved, so more one step away than a short walk away. There are lots of restaurants in Chiswick that duplicate the kind of food that other restaurants offer, just as there are a lot of coffee shops offering pretty much the same.  Everyone has different preferences re type of food, size of restaurant, space between tables, noise, price, formality/informality, service, ease of booking etc so that shouldn't matter.

Went for a second time again last night and think the pasta is as good as any I have had anywhere. Hope it keeps going.
