Whistling Oyster

A shout out for this wonderful fishmongers and seafood bar, on Devonshire Road. Went for the first time last night and ate some truly delicious food. The salmon with home made soda bread was really delicious. Oysters, langoustines, potted shrimp…and decent selection of wines. We’d only popped in for an aperitif but stayed. Wishing them great success- lovely people and great service.

ive been meaning to try this place out- good reminder. Its really a "glass of wine and a dish or two versus a full blown meal " kind of set-up isnt it>?

I think that's right, Tim. We had a couple of dishes then had a couple more and didn't need to go on anywhere else. A great little crowd in there, too. Was a good evening.
