I did not realise we had only done deals with Austrailia and New Zealand. The others were with countries we already had deals with pre Brexit. Also today we learn our economy will be the only one in the G7 to shrink.

As Russia's economy is now projected to grow faster than ours, shouldn't we be looking at what they are getting right and we are doing wrong? Perhaps now is the time to invade the Irish Republic as this might be the only way to resolve the border issue.The EU and the US may impose sanctions but they already are conducting a trade war with us by not agreeing to give us the deals we wanted after Brexit. To offset this would be the amazing opportunities to be had from a closer relationship with our new allies Russia, Iran, Syria and North Korea.

The referendum result was too close to call it should never have been accepted completely mad decision and the polls show many people didn’t vote for the right reasons as they have changed their mind, shame on all those who voted out……but we are stuck with it so need to move on and make the best of a dogs dinner

One of the worst Brexit results for the UK was Intel not coming to the UK because of Brexit. Imagine producing micro chips here. Could you imagine exporting micro chips to Europe, our export figures would have looked better than now. Still Boris said we were going to produce car batteries for Europe. However look at British Volt  Austrailia was interested for a while, then Norway but have not heard much lately. However in the EU 33 giga factories underway. Still we took back our sovereignty, this seems strange as Eukraine want to join the EU to keep theirs.

Some really daft people on last night's 'Newsnight' banging on about how it will take about ten years before we feel the benefit of leaving! Others trying to import/export tearing their hair out at the amount of paperwork and the money it all costs. Deborah Meaden really very anti and cannot understand what bloody good it has done us. Band and orchestras trying to tour have just all but given up in the sheer bureaucracy now required to work. Thanks a bunch Bozo and Moggie - think Keir Starmer should start having a look at the policies Labour have got, we really do need to start building bridges with the EU and trying to repair some of the damage this whole fiasco has caused.

I was just reading Seat in Spain are setting up a giga factory for batteries and have got €397 million from the EU  pandemic recovery fund. I heard Mogg saying the benefits of Brexit will come through in fifty years.

No Brexiteer can deny that progress has been slow, a lot of this inertia must belong to covid and Putin's war.Our parliamentarians, mostly pro-EU, have allowed the NI protocol and the illegal immigration to continue without much dissent.Our still "working from home" civil servants have not even begun clearing the 4,000 plus EU laws still in our statute. Little wonder then that both Priti Patel and Dominic Raab both saw fit to voice their annoyance at the efforts of this snowflake army.I am determined to finish on some positives to accrue from our democratic decision to go alone and leave the corrupt, moribond EU:Saving of £191b (yes billion) on being out of the Covid Rescue Package.Saving of (£161-£270)m weekly subscriptions to the EU.Invited to join Australia and the USA in controlling the Indo/Pacific seas with our nuclear submarine (much to Emmanuele Macron's chagrin)-Aukus dealFirst cab off the rank in support of Ukraine while the Eu dithered.First cab off the rank in delivering covid vaccines while the Eu dithered.No more future bailing out of failing Greece and Spanish economies.

Just ask the Ukrainians who are intelligent enough to recognise that adhering to an international rules based framework in partnership with other countries, including membership of the EU, enhances a nation's sovereignty and democratic accountability.

We elected MEPs. The EU is by no means perfect but democratic accountability in the UK? We have the unelected House Lords which any government can fill with its own supporters and/or donors. How democratic is that?We always were a sovereign nation within the EU - even the government now acknowledges this.But we’ve made our bed…

Yes and what a bl**dy mess we're now in. Not enough workers for the hospitality industry. Fruit and vegetables rotting in fields because there's no one to pick them. Utter disgrace.

Not to mention the understaffing in the hospitals which causes problems of overworking the staff that are there.  For many jobs eg turning a patient over two staff are needed, or organising the giving of blood.  So when there should be eight staff and only four turn up for the shift for various reasons that is a considerable lot more work for those that are there which is demoralising for them and certainly also isn't good for the patients.https://lordslibrary.parliament.uk/staff-shortages-in-the-nhs-and-social-care-sectors/ Patients in waiting areas, corridors, cupboards, resuscitation spaces, and using the queueing ambulances as extra waiting space with patients being taken in for X-rays and CT scans and then returned to the ambulance.  It's scandalous.Aren't the latest nurses being recruited from abroad now coming from India?

Interesting piece on 'Newsnight' last week, re EU medical staff returning home. Over 4000 doctors, and thousands of nurses who used to come here to work in the NHS, some for years, and gain further qualifications go elsewhere in the EU now - as any qualifications gained here are not accepted in the EU since we departed! No matter how they cut it or what fairy tales we are told this is a bloody disaster that we will have to live with for years, while Bozo, Sunak Moggie and their ilk get richer from it.

It’s just a shame people didn’t do their own research or have any common sense / commercial savvy the EU was never going to make it easy for us and that was a given for obvious reasons. Don’t believe anything you hear or read do your own research sadly those that voted out clearly didn’t….
