So sorry for those whose cats are missing. I subscribe to many online cat sites and the numbers of cats killed/missing every day is just enormous. I know this is an area of controversy but if you want your cats to live a long life, keep them in or catproof your garden (happy to provide details of how I did mine). Otherwise, you know the risk and are happy to accept that your cat may be severely injured or die. Your cat doesn't know the risk and has no choice.
