Huge house fire on Park Road

About 10 fire appliances at the Station end of Park Road dealing with huge fire gutting a house that was under massive renovation. Luckily no one hurt as the owners had moved out. Looks like the builders may have questions to answer.

So devastated for the owners. Glad no one hurt. Cause being investigated. Fire started just after 4 pm. Pictures may help investigators particularly from the back on crofton crescent with timings.

I saw the flames and heard the sirens from my flat on SCR in the middle of the evening, but couldn't see the exact location. Very glad to hear that no-one was hurt, but what a devastating shock for the owners.

Yes it was awful - I walked there and it was enormous- I pity the owners and hope the builders rectify it . Luckily no one living there  but I wonder how the next houses were affected.
