RIP Martin Duffy

So sad to hear of the sad passing of Martin Duffy. When he lived in the area I met him in the pub a couple of times and we got chatting, mainly about football. I had no idea who this decent, likeable man with a great knowledge of the game was until afterwards when someone enlightened me. Doesn't say much for my observational skills as I am a fan of Primal Scream and have seen them live. His light will shine on.

I was talking to Martin in the Tabard one day having only just got to know him slightly.  He mentioned having recently been to Glastonbury so I asked him how he had found getting there and back and the camping etc.  He said "well actually we used a helicopter!" and one of my friends whispered in my ear that the nice modest chap in front of me was, in fact, a star of the show.
