Butternut Box Frozen Dog Food

Would anybody like some frozen ‘Butternut Box’ dog food? We have about 10 packs (a good variety) that we no longer have a requirement for.To be collected from our house in Chiswick.

How about the food bank?  Many people asking for food for their pets.

Sorry, Sarah - the food is already spoken for.Please also bear in mind that the food needs to be kept in a Freezer until it is to be used, so I’m not sure as to whether it would be suitable for a Foodbank.

David.  Glad the food has gone to a good place.It is amazing how versatile the food banks are.  A friend of ours had a whole pile of frozen food, bought in for a visiting relative, who then couldn’t come because of Covid.  A phone call to the food bank in Brentford and they picked up the lot from his freezer.I understand they also have a box of activity items for children on their delivery van and at Christmas they make up a Christmas box.Always worth a phone call to them if you think you have something families might need.Hounslow Community Foodbox.https://www.hounslowfoodbox.org.uk/

Sarah,The example that you give here applies to humans, not to animals!Our dog unfortunately died and we donated all the items related to her to Mayhew Animal Welfare in North West London, including all the unopened dry and wet food that we had for her, but obviously not the frozen food (or, for that matter, her baskets, as apparently they had plenty of those already).

The example I gave hopefully reflected it is worth contacting them as the same people who use the food bank are struggling to feed pets, who then end up at the Mayhew.  Sorry to hear about your dog, we did the same after our cat was put down, but that was dried food and it went to  HAWS who have a collection point just off Chiswick High Road.
