Really?  Unless you're making a specific point about something you've noticed, I've been amazed that there's been so much coverage.  Several 10 o'clock news items about unconscious bias, newspaper tactics and racism within and around the royal family.  I was struck by someone's compelling interpretation that a press story about what colour of tights to wear was simply an excuse to mention that Meghan has dark skin.With the strikes, NHS, war, famine, inflation and football hype, I'd say it's had more coverage than I'd expected.

The public displayed their affection for the queen by the length and duration of the queues lining up to see her rest in state.They will not take kindly to Harry and his two bob actress wife bad mouthing her family, and her legacy.

It would appear that most of the bad-mouthing of H & M comes from the right wing newspaper press with their outraged headlines.  It looks like it is a huge brouhaha being created to distract the public from other far right Govt machinations.

After the three TV episodes so far, the red top papers are saying what a disgraceful insult these hurtful revelations would be to our own dear Queen and her family, and at the same time what a snore-fest it turned out to be, filling a dozen pages to tell everyone to ignore it all!  Whatever Meghan and Harry do, or even don't do, sells papers, which is the main point the couple was making in the programmes so far.

For two people who have whinged about being left alone and our terrible press they seem mighty happy to put themselves on display for Netflix and their shedloads of dollars. They just need to wind their necks in after first removing their heads from their a*ses and then shut up. If they are so bloody miserable about their royal status - then they could give up their titles, somehow I don't see them doing that voluntarily. I just feel sorry for the rest of the family, who get on with their duties with dignity.

I don't think Meghan and Harry insist on privacy per se, but object to the red-top papers determining the narrative with no comeback from them.  Royals hitherto were prepared to go along with that, and not complain or react, and certainly not to take legal action to shut the papers up.  But M&H are prepared to attack the unbridled power the press has developed for itself, hence its furious reaction against them.

I should think the winding of the neck in would do the other job very nicely!The only thing I have to say on the matter is a question as to why certain people of dual heritage are called/call themselves 'black'. I've never heard it the other way round and neither descriptor is accurate.

I've never heard it the other way round and neither descriptor is accurate."I think you need to look to US history for that.  I was horrified when I realised how technical the many different historical names there for mixed heritage were. Segregation was not legally ended in the US until the Civil Rights Act in 1964 and there weren't equal voting rights until later in 1965.

Attention seeking and they need to earn money clearly other than royal connection they have zero talent so it’s the easy option. Their mother will be turning in her grave at Harry’s behaviour truly shocking. It makes William & Kate looks even better, they are professional and getting on with their lovely family thankfully the column inches have stopped until I guess the next 3 episodes appear later in the week. H&M must be truly unhappy to have to resort to this kind of behaviour, very sad. We won’t be watching hopefully they will disappear into the oblivion 😂😂😂😂

Don't know exactly what they are saying about the Royals,  it seems nomember of the Royal Family opposed Harry marrying her so anything I hear now doesn't hold water.

Harry is just over privileged, spoilt and throwing his toys out the pram. He should deal with his family crap privately. Megan treats her family appallingly so what do we expect. 2 selfish people wanting attention I feel sorry for their kids.

What was said,that the half-sister was not allowed to the wedding by the royal family but a host of top celebs were who have never ever met Megan. YEH RIGHT I see an interview with Thomas Markle Jr who is looking after his father. Seem to come over as a very sincere person who had no beef other than answering questions in a genuine and sometimes sad way.But the idea that she sits and mocks the late queen over curtsying while harry sits and sneers over it is just so poor taste and quite pathetic.And then they get an award for basically accusing someone in the Oprah interview with no substance and a "heroic" stand against racism within the royal family. Given that the likes of the late great Bishop Desmond Tutu have received this award makes it a right mockery.And the conclusion so far divides and more divide and for what.Cha-ChingBetter of appearing on judge judy for the final verdict

I put my hand up I haven’t watched and have no intention to do so. Hence just picked stuff up via the press about the second half it really comes across that Megan didn’t understand what the institution was all about and couldn’t adjust. That is not a criticism, most people would struggle I do find their whinging really distasteful. No one did anything wrong it just wasn’t what Megan thought it would be and Harry bless him comes across as very immature. Let’s hope they both grow up and go away to Netflix heaven leaving Charles, William & Kate to get on with their lives. It is such bad form to trash your family in public, Harry has lead a very privileged life, sure at a price no one is suggesting it is easy to have the press pack chasing but many talented people make it work and we never hear a word unless they are promoting an album, film etc. perhaps the challenge H&M have is other than the royal element they don’t have much talent to earn silly money.

Sadly the inevitable divorce is but a few years down the road.Let's hope for their sake and ours that the brats have grown up a little by then and can separate with some semblance of dignity.I can't say I am hopeful and predict a storm of media coverage of them accusing each other of everything under the sun, both coming out very badly.Well, you reap what you sow.

I couldn't agree more, Helen. Trashing the unfortunate pair sells newspapers. Meanwhile the press fawn on the Cambridges without knowing the details of what provoked the rift between the brothers.

There is a subtle difference the Wales are getting on with their job/duty on the other hand the sussex are making money so they have their own agenda. Harry knows that the true royals don’t complain, don’t respond so he is being very disingenuous by talking about his brother in such a nasty way. I believe Harry said that Kate was like a sister he never had prior to meeting Megan. The 3 had a fabulous relationship until Megan. I get she struggled she had no idea of the royal protocol and I reckon just thought about the fame after all that was her struggling profession. Megan should have had the grace to stand back and learn first but that was clearly never going to happen. It is a one sided and very nasty attack on his family and as the palace said recollections may vary. They need to stop the attack they will be the losers if they are not already.

It's a family! Show me a family that hasn't had a falling out about something at sometime, we are all humans after all. The difference here is that no-one gives a toss about ordinary people, let alone offer them shedloads of dosh to spill the beans. I just think H&M (a.k.a.Ginge & Whinge) should belt up and show some dignity and maturity, sooner or later they'll run out of moans, they chose to bugger off - so that's an end of it as far as most of us are concerned.

The press are not innocent but on the other hand Megan courted press prior to meeting Harry and H knew whoever he married would get attention. I think the key is how they handled themselves, if they hadn’t ‘fed’ the press it would have levelled out. Unfortunately they upset too many people so made themselves the story. The Oprah interview and Netflix just continues to feed the press. William & Kate have learnt how to handle the press without giving them oxygen. Constantly attacking others isn’t smart, they are not innocent and I am sure made many mistakes which they don’t want to own.

Is what they have to say really worth all the knicker-twisting?They've got to run out of stories pretty soon, and Meghan will want go out with a bang. Expect to hear that the Duke Of Edinburgh, Charles and William pressured her into a gang-bang behind the potting shed at Sandringham.
