Penalty Charge Notices

Today, I received two more for driving down Staveley Road from the A316. This is the fifth I've received in all. Three before they changed the rules, because of the roadworks on the A4, and now two since they reversed the decision to allow people to drive down ther to relieve the congestion. All for a road I've driven down for 40 years before they brought in this purely revenue raising offence. So far I've got off one and I've appealed the latest two. So annoying and blatantly unfair.

I had exactly the same a few weeks back. Got one for every day while the A4 works were extended by a week. I've appealed but no news yet.When your driving and its busy youre in the right lane and their are buses on the inside lane and you don't even notice the sign which is on the left.  The sign should be on the traffic light post or something with a right turn symbol with a line through it.  Not a big long winded text board on the left. It is crazy.

I got one going the other way, so down Staveley Rd past Chiswick School onto the A316. Given that one can exit Grove Park onto the A316 24/7 from both Burlington Lane and Hartington Road, this does smack of absolutely nothing more than revenue generation.
