Free Trachycarpus
I have a large Trachycarpus which I want to dispose of. I bought a pair of them about 20 years ago. For various reasons 1 didn't get planted and is still in its original plastic tub. The one that was planted was over 15ft 5 yrs ago when I moved. I brought with me the potted one. It is 1.4m tall stem, 1.9m inc tub. It looks very neglected at the moment. The tub must be completely full of roots as its never been repotted but once planted and given a chance will probably grow really well.I bought it from a trade nursery 20 years ago and it still cost me £110 then. I'm offering it free to a good home but you must collect and you will need at least 2 strong men to lift it. To get it into a car/van probably 3 or more. I want to get rid of it in the next few days really. I have a skip here for a few days more and if no one wants it it's going in there.
