I do not understand the popularity of the Jungle program, but contradicting myself, confess to watching it when Phill Tufnell appeared a few years back. To go out on a limb, a few good words to say about Matt Hancock, the nation's favourite scapegoat, in his attempts at redemption:He has welcomed seven Ukrainian refugees into his home. His agent proclaims a proportion of his jungle proceedings will go towards research into dyslexia, a condition he suffers from. All royalties from his book "Pandemic Diaries", out in December, to be donated towards the NHS.Naturally, the man will never be forgiven for his involvement in the ill thought transfer of hospitalised geriatrics into care homes, the failed £37b cost of the track & trace scheme which merely lined the pockets of his cronies. What finally did for him was the smooch which was caught on film in the corner of his office while we were imprisoned for eternity in our homes.
