Reinstated restrictions to traffic on Hartington Road during Bridge repairs into December

I received a fine notification from LBH for driving through Hartington road on the 25th of October   I felt sure that restrictions were lifted until into December and had seen no official information to the contrary.  Councils online sites do not make it any more clear   I paid immediately to mitigate anxiety but am now considering appealing as the lack of clarity and available information gives rise to confusion and Council misdirection to raise funding from fines   The PCN letter opens with ‘The LBH .. believes…that you are liable to pay ….for .. alleged contravention’.  This terminology seems opaque   Is anyone clear on the state of restrictions. Has anyone appealed successfully and if so can they give advice to the rest of us

You cant appeal once you have paid the PCN Paying is seen as you have accepted liability and the right to appeal is taken away

I noticed the bin bags have been taken off the signs so I guess the restrictions must now apply, despite there still being the same hold-ups all around because of the road works on the A4.

These restrictions should be abolished completely for anyone living in the Grove Park area south of the A4. In the meantime, it looks as though LBH has gone back to its tried and trusted policy of Confusing Restrictions = Extra Revenue.

I appealed a fine after I had paid it. Took me six months but I was in the right, missing signage as I recall. I  go my money back, but no admittance of wrong doing on Hounslow’s part. It was many years ago and I think I’ve hated Hounslow Council ever since . They tried  every dirty trick in the book just like now and I was stubborn, just like now.

I drove back over chiswick bridge a couple of days ago, hoping to go down Hartington, but signage was pretty clear. The virtually gated enclave is back

Are they putting on a full days work on the project yet. They’llstop  early because of poor light now suppose

This afternoon traffic was running freely on the westbound A4 from the Hogarth roundabout so I assume the westbound lane restrictions have for the moment been removed. Similarly the right turn from the southbound SCR onto the A4 has also been reinstated.

Not sure where  or if the work is happening, but the westbound A4 is not channeled into one lane today so flowing fairly freely.

Still very congested this evening when I went by. I thought the extra traffic on Acton Lane and South Parade over the last few months was due to the A4 lane closures?
