Kew Bridge to Grove Park

Sorry to bring this subject up yet again, but I'm still not clear on LBH's rather confusing regulations. As I live in the Fauconberg Road area, I am currently allowed to travel from the A316 to Sutton Court Road via Hartington Road, as I have been doing for a few weeks now without incurring a penalty. Does this mean that I am also allowed to travel from the north end of Kew Bridge to Grove Park via Thames Road, or does this fall under a different set of LBH's arcane rules for motorists?

I believe not, but I have done so and not received a fine as there are np cameras.

As I understand it, the Thames Road restriction is 'Except for Access' which is different from the wider Grove Park scheme. As you suggest, including the 'School streets', Hounslow initially imposed three or four different kinds of schemes providing a test-bed for different camera monitoring systems.  No wonder people are confused!

Kew Bridge to Grove Park Terrace is 'access only'.  It is not included in the SCLTN Scheme white list. Jefferson Nwokeoma - Assistant Director of traffic & transport Lbh - states that "this restriction will be 'self enforcing' as it is not possible to deploy enforcement cameras on all restrictions on our highway network" (22 October 2022)

Sorry to piggyback onto this question.I have the Staveley Rd exemption as I live on Sutton Court Rd.Can I turn left off the A316 into Staveley Rd?Thanks for any info.

Thanks to everyone for your helpful responses. And in response to Basil's question, I also live on Sutton Court Road and have the Staveley Road exemption, and I often turn left off the A316 onto Staveley Road and so far have incurred no penalties.

If you have registered your vehicle for exemption as a resident of the Grove Park area (or specified area East of the A-316) and have been approved, then you are now eligible to use both Hartington Rd and Staveley Road to enter from the A-316. As an eligible resident, you should have received a letter explaining all of the changes, dated 13th October?It also clarifies the separate "access only" restriction for Strand on the Green. If you need a copy of the letter email Traffic@hounslow.gov.uk. It's really useful to have.

Yes, but you can still use Strand on the Green, Thames Road, which, if you are a local, can bypass the awful Sutton Court Road crossing.  You won't get fined as they haven't the cameras.  Stop at the shop if you are worried, and buy a chocolate bar for stress!
