May have dodged a big issue brewing in the background As Ash Regan resigns becasue her conscience would not allow her to vote in favour of legislation to introduce a gender self-ID system for Scotland,Keir might be relieved that Eddie Izzard has said she will not try to be selected as an MP on an all-women shortlist for the Labour party safe seat of Sheffield Central in the next general election. I think he is going to be mighty relieved of that news given some  roumours that a small few defections from the party was possible if that happened.
