Well done TFL & LBH

No traffic along CHR from Chiswick lane onwards to TGTWHY?Because they have barriers up diverting all traffic up Chiswick lane if going west due to cycle lane works.Even tho the lane going west is still empty and no obstruction to its usageAnd the wost is nothing on the bus stops or bus apps and people are waiting and elderly using old seating at bus stops waiting for a bus which there are none. I looked down in the distance and could not even see any coming for even Chiswick lane. And none are using bath road either from what I could see.So do you walk down to Turnham green hoping that is the diversion route from Chiswick lane for the busses for which i see none going up Chiswick lane?Am i guessing they have done this without knowing that TFL and LBH have no idea either or did they just not bother to tell TFL and the public?Or am i missing something completely?

"CHISWICK HIGH ROAD: Route 237 is on diversion via Stamford Brook Road, Bath Road and Turnham Green Terrace due to roadworks. Buses towards Hounslow are missing the stops Stamford Brook Road, Ravenscourt Gardens, Stamford Brook Station, Stamford Brook Bus Garage and Chiswick Lane."No good for those waiting at the stop after chiswick laneWhy did TFL not take the stop out of service.If it was not for me those waiting may have waited even longer

KING STREET, W6: Routes 110 190 267 391 H91 are on diversions westbound due to an emergency services incident. Buses will not be serving stops from 'Kings Mall Shopping Centre (U)' to 'Hammersmith Town Hall (WA)'.CHISWICK HIGH ROAD: Routes 110 267 and H91 are on diversion via Goldhawk Road, Stamford Brook Road, Bath Road and Turnham Green Terrace due to roadworks. Is it related to a large hole that has just opened up near the cycle lane changes (again!!!!!) being done near Cranbrook Road ?

Maybe one day those messages will be rolling on the bus shelters and not just on the TfL website.  Info has hugely improved but just not enough.

The recent sinkhole that appeared in Turnham Green Terrace took 4 or 5 days to fix so we might have to brace for prolonged closure. This evening's rush hour will be interesting if it is not filled up by then.

Latest update is that it will be sorted by the Monday morning rush hour. Watch out for large tubs of Polyfilla being shipped into the Chiswick area.
