It seems that local residents have had a letter saying that the developer has put in some amendments and that these are attached to the original application

There doesn't seem to have been a new application submitted so perhaps these are just non-material amendments to the original scheme. Progress does seem to be very slow on the development and the current financial uncertainty is probably going to result in a lot of schemes even further along the planning process being scrapped.
