Hartington Rd/Staveley Rd restrictions

I have today received a letter from TFL saying that the A4 roadworks are taking longer than anticipated and extending the work until 5th November (I think the last message said they were planned to end on October 23rd).  My question is, will the easing of restrictions on Hartington/Staveley also be extended for traffic returning home to Chiswick from the Richmond area?

David, as I understand the letter, restrictions come back in force on the 25th Oct although the amlgamation between Hartington and Staveley Rd remains.

I be very surprised if they didn't extend the lifting of restrictions. The idea was to take pressure off Hogarth Roundabout and avoid the queue to turn right into Sutton Court Road blocking the westbound A4. The only conceivable reason for not doing so is that the revenue gained by restoring the restrictions would trump any potential risk of exacerbating existing traffic problems.

The restrictions come back into force from 25 October. TfL and Hounslow believe, rightly or wrongly, that the works to be carried out after that point will be less disruptive.
