CHR BETWEEN TGT And Chiswick lane, two new dig up the road sites, anybody know what they are up to this time ?

It's the start of Phase 3b of the Cycleway 9 scheme which involves various improvements to junctions between Chiswick Lane and Heathfield Terrace. The two sites that you noticed are at the CHR junctions with Cranbrook Road and Brackley Road. The works will result in similar junction treatments to those already implemented between Goldhawk Road and Chiswick Lane. During the works, some one-way streets will temporarily become two-way, like Cranbrook Road currently.

No, only a few serial whiners on here who don't like things being brought up to the level of other civilised countries. Apologies though for any disruption it causes, but at least it'll be less than the A4 repairs.

How, exactly, would Cranbrook become two-way?It is barely wide enough to be a one-way street. How does trash collection work? Deliveries? Moving vans? Business deliveries? Emergency vehicles? It is now a dead-end street but in the opposite direction. No place to turn around.Or is it yet another case of TfL and LBH saying to hell with that?

"How, exactly, would Cranbrook become two-way?"They've suspended parking on a number of short stretches of road (of 2 to 3 car lengths) to create passing places and space for turning.

"How, exactly, would Cranbrook become two-way?"I used to live in Cranbrook Road several years ago and it was two-way at that time. I don't remember any major problems.
