Covid Booster

Has anyone aged over 60 but under 65 been offered a covid booster yet? I've not received any notification from my local surgery or the NHS. A work colleague in his 20's has just been offered a flu jab and booster by his local GP surgery!!

Check this out website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/how-to-get-a-coronavirus-vaccine/how-to-get-a-booster-dose/ You will need to enter your National Health No at some stage. Which is different from your NI number. This will then tell you if you're eligible, and if so offer appointments at local centres

As someone who finally contracted Covid a fortnight ago (thankfully mild, tested negative on Monday etc), may or should I get my booster now or should I wait for a period, on the basis that my antibodies are currently active etc?I've tried googling, but the advice seems contradictory, mostly varying between waiting 28 days and 3 months.

Sorry to hear that you got Covid after all this time. My understanding is that you need to wait 28 days from your first symptoms before having a booster (or an initial vaccination). I’m assuming the same applies if you want a flu jab too. I know someone who was refused a flu jab earlier this week as the nurse heard her coughing in the waiting room.

I had booster ( the previous one) 28 days after contracting Covid, and I felt rough for a couple of days. Friend who works in doctors surgery said they were recommending 3 months. As you say advice is contradictory.

To be fair they don't say it stops you getting Covid but will stop you being in hospital, it's just like a flu jab really.

They DID say that it would prevent Covid, and coerced the mugs of the world to take it. When it failed, they said "You'd have been more ill without it" !! 😂🤣😂Unfortunately, the death toll of the vaccinated continues to rise; and there could soon be a wheelchair shortage due to the high number of people being disabled by the vaccines.

Don't know anything about this only that I knew people who died from Covid before they were able to be vaccinated, they were elderly people.Have heard of unknown cause deaths but no evidence it was due tothe vaccine, Mainly athletes.

This reply is not for the benefit of Brown himself - he is so far down the rabbit hole as to be beyond all reason.Rather it is for others who may not be so familiar with his views and methods, and so may be tempted to give him a hearing which he does not deserve.For all anyone needs to know about Brown is that he is a Holocaust Denier.And it is a short and easy step from there to vaccine denial.

Michael, assuming that you have not had a single Covid vaccine, have you managed to avoid being infected so far ? Have you self-isolated, avoided public transport, and kept away from crowded places ? I guess spending time in the middle of the Thames is a good way to avoid flying germs.

I've not had Covid as far as I'm aware, but I may have had it - who knows. It seems that many people who have the jab soon get it though! Then they go back for more and get Covid again!

I have repeatedly offered you the opportunity to affirm that you accept the common understanding that the Nazi's did indeed murder around 6 million Jews, plus Roma, Communists, Homosexuals and various political opponents during WWII.You have consistently declined to do so. And on the basis that no decent human being would ever wish there to be any doubt over such a charge, then the only feasible conclusion must be that you are, in fact, a Holocaust Denier.But still, the opportunity remains even at this late stage for you to provide a clear annd unambiguous statement of your position on this matter. And since I try to be reasonable about such things, should you post that you do accept The Holocaust as historiscal fact, then I shall retract my claim and apologise.The floor is yours - though I won't be holding my breath.
