received by text message a link to apply online (!) in order to get the £400 - I think it's a scam because I found out we actually don't need to apply - so please be careful.Phone number where the text message was sent from is 07521236307.''Who's called'' said: The phone number 07521236307 / +44 7521 236307 has been reported 22 times and we have detected 62 calls from this number (Mobile phone, UK).

I had one claiming to be from 'GOV.UK' - 07542 345 327, saying I am eligible for a discounted energy bill, blah blah blah...I wonder how many people fall for this, click the link and realise in that moment that it is a scam?!Hopefully the more people read these threads, the numbers of those affected, lower.
