That this man is being wheeled out to defend this clown show is symbolic of what the Conservative party has become. Chris Philip is the ultimate wide boy with a string of failed businesses behind him. His first business was a delivery company called Blueheath Holdings Ltd a delivery firm which collapsed owing millions including HMRC. He will claim he had resigned as a director before this happened but it was already in deep trouble at this time. His next venture was a HGV training company called Clearstone which went into administration in 2007 owing half a million to HMRC and £1.4mn to other creditors. Once again he will claim to have cut ties just before the bankruptcy.He currently has a string of companies which are usually structured as LLPs meaning he doesn't need to disclose accounts at companies house. Much of his investments are in property in Serbia and Montenegro so at least someone is benefiting from the weakness in sterling. That this man has such a senior role in government (effectively Kamikwazi's deputy at the Treasury) is indicative of how corrupt, incompetent and untrustworthy the current administration has become.What amazes me is that 20% of the population still seem to believe they are fit to govern. How bad would they actually be for these people to change their minds.
