Anyone else told they can book their Covid booster but system says they’re not yet eligible?

I’ve received a text and email saying I’m now eligible to book my booster, but the nhs system is telling me I can’t book yet? Anyone else had that problem? I think the booking system isn’t caught up with the current stages

If you are after getting your booster and are eligible, a number of centres are open for walk-ins for example at the Claypond Centre, Ealing Road.

I had that problem.I asked my gp.I begged my gp.They said not eligible.Then 3 weeks later I got covid (3rd time) and was very sick. Not blaming the gp though. Just frustrating.

Help with vaccination bookingsYou can call 119 to:book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment, including booster vaccination appointments cancel and rebook COVID-19 vaccination appointments.The Autumn booster I believe it’s being offered to over 50 year old and others.The NHS website relies on your Name, age, national Health number and address to find your health record. If you have had the vaccine in the past it should find that information. But things do go wrong sometimes either the website or the information input. Best to call 119 to book through the.I had mine booster at Clayponds community centre in Clayponds Gardens, I also think you can just walk in at the moment, but check first before setting out

Hi Bernard I’d better ring then, yes I’m over 50 but nowhere near 75 😀 And yes the website seems not to be joined up with the text and email, I’ve been through the process online and it just says you need to be over 65.  Thanks all for the answers.

Over 65s can have the jab. Official. I fit into that category and had the jab at Clayponds.

It's only over 65s at the moment, if you're in normal health. I also had mine at Clayponds and was in and out in 10 minutes. Very efficient. Moderna Bivalent.

Had extra booster this afternoon at W Middx hospital's walk in portacabin. A bit of a queue as pre-booked people turning up had precedence, but efficiently done.
