Hounslow Parking Permit - Expired but no reminder from the council!
Hi,I moved from Ealing Council to Hounslow Council just over a year ago. When I moved to Hounslow Council I took out an annual parking permit for Central Chiswick. Apparently, last week my permit ran out. I know because my car is gone! It’s been taken to the pound and it’ll cost me £200 plus £40/day storage to get it back.OK, it’s my fault and I should have remembered the permit was up for renewal. However, I’m really surprised Hounslow council didn’t email me or write to me that the permit needed to be renewed. Ealing always reminded me that the renewal was due.Anyways, I’m glad my car wasn’t stolen. I thought it was stolen because it was gone. Fortunately, I’d tucked an AirTag away in the car and could see today that the car was at the Brent Pound!!!Word to the wise 1) Remind yourself to pay your annual parking charge 2) Hide an AirTag somewhere in your car so you can figure out where it is.Joe
