Staveley Road Exemption

Does anyone know if residents of SOTG and RV can now apply for exemption to the Staveley Road access restriction? The recent Chiswick W4.com article suggested we could apply after the trial period which ended on the 7th of September.

Good question, and Hartington too for those of us who will be allowed to use that again. Will those with permits for either, be auto added to the other, or do we need to apply again?

Unfortunately, like everything to do with these permits and restrictions, it is so difficult to get any information from Hounslow Council. You would hope that we would automatically be added rather than having to re-apply but who would know.

Living on SCR south of the A4, I have Staveley Road exemption, and for the last 3 weeks have been using the Hartington Road turn-off from Chiswick Bridge, so far without receiving any penalty and without re-applying. I agree that it difficult to get clear information from Hounslow, but that is in keeping with their policy of Ignorance & Confusion = Revenue.

I think the fact thar LBH have completely covered the road signs of the A316 in bin liners would indicate that the stasi-type revenue cameras on both Hartington and Staveley are currently not in operation.
