Tip if you go to Buckingham Palace today

We went early and it was fine. But now there is a one way queue to lay flowers. No good approachimg from Victoria via Buckingam palace rd. (You can if you just want to view). If you intend to lay flowers at railings you will need to start queuing  at hyde Park Corner. The onnexway queue goes down Constitucion hill. Very long and slow.

Thanks Sean.....but I should have read this post before going today!Entered via Victoria.Thousands of people queuing slowly, never managed to find the end of it! Still fantastic to see so many and the weather was lovely to just take it all in.

I recall the passing of Diana, Princess of Wales and shock of the news from Paris, followed by visits  to see the floral tributes and crowds at Kensington Gardens... it was all very emotive. But I hadn't anticipated the crescendo  of greater emotions by the time the Funeral Day arrived.Be prepared for tougher days ahead this week ..and especially next Monday.
