Artemis 1 Mission launch today 13:33 BST

Exciting times. I was not even 3 when they stopped the Apollo program missions. This is an unmanned capsule (Orion) to go round the moon a few times testing mission elements and return about 6 weeks after launch.  Something about Shaun the Sheep as UK mascot on board but I've yet to work that out how and why fully.  Surely Wallace and Gromit would have been more fitting as they have actually already been to the cheesy moon.

Definitely time to go back as that sixpence that Wallace put into the robot on the moon must have run out be now.

Im told we are going to have in the future pipes from the moon down to earth feeding us neon,helium,and hydrogen.

Shaun is getting restless.  Problems with engine temps currently.  Holding the launch at T-40 .  They only have a 2 hour window today until 2.33pm our time after which they will have to reschedule.

It's a scrub for today.  Shaun will be disembarking and be able to have his packed lunch in the space control center instead of on the way to the moon.  Sep 2nd next chance

That was disappointing.  We tried to watch a launch when we were in Florida years ago and it was the same problem of moving dates.

These events pretty much get pushed back for all reasons including weather which tells you all you need to know about weathr forecasters.

NASSA say it was allso cancelled due to several lightning strikes and other tech issues. They must mean in the area rather than direct hit The next window is the 2nd but stress that lauch has above 0% chance of going ahead
