Pine (door) stripping

Any recommendations for a company to remove paint from a very old door?

There is a company in Edgware (Best Doors)  but a new four panel clear pine door is around £70.00 Stripping, neutralising, drying and sanding costs £55.00 plus any required joint regluing. The days of the £10-15 dip and strip are, sadly, long gone.

Many years ago I used jackthestripper.co.uk from memory think they are in twickenham they did a fabulous job on original pine doors and it wasn’t too expensive but no idea what the prices are now.

I had fogotten them. Now £55.00 per door stripped but unsanded.

You may find it better and cheaper to buy a reclaimed door

Last time I was in the market for a reclaimed door (about 5 years ago), they were £80 unstripped and £100 stripped at West7 Reclamation. Huge selection but probably a bit more now.
