Bank Holiday bus strikes

I've had an email today from TfL saying that some buses will be on strike again this coming Sunday and Monday. I was invited to click through to see which routes were affected, which got me precisely nowhere!Am I right in thinking that the E3 won't be running again?

You are correct. It may not. The bus drivers are poorly paid which makes striking in the current situation very difficult for them. It is notable that this strike is taking place at a Bank Holiday weekend which means fewer drivers will be rostered and therefore it will be easier for the union to provide them with support. How long they can keep this up for is debatable.

One would have thought that current bus drivers servicing Chiswick High Road were deserving of a "Stress related weekly bonus" anyway.Perhaps a "thank you" at entry or at exit is more appropriate at present..but drivers tell me such gestures are very occasional.

I agree that they are badly paid for a stressful job. I wouldn't want to manoeuvre something that size through London traffic, on shift work, for a pittance.Still annoying, though.
