Alas poor Boris!

See that Bozo has complained he was 'stitched up' and is blaming all and sundry for his fall from grace. Saw one woman at the Tory hustings blaming Sunak for this - what I don't understand is why he just doesn't tell it like it is - that Bozo brought it all on himself, it wasn't Sunak, the 'Red Wall' M.Ps, Cummings or anyone else, just his own overweening arrogance and sense of entitlement.  Infamy, infamy - they've all got it in for me! With rights go responsibilities.......

Yes, think he had the most difficult time as P.M had to deal with far morethan any other P.M. with the pandemic he was fair to everyone and got us through it.

Hilarious, he is human being with a new family, whilst by no means perfect he did make some good calls during his time and as importantly no scared to support Ukraine. He is a colourful character which made a change from the men in grey suits. I wish him well

Ah, but just think how bad things would have been if Old Jeremiah had become PM in 2019. The choice was between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, and the electorate plumped for the latter as the least worst option. If you think BoJo's government was crippled by left-wing groupthink, then how much more so would one led by OJ have been.

I find it disgraceful that a very much failed PM (please do not bleat vaccines, that was not such a success or even his success) can now go on to earn millions from his high profile failure. Appalling. Johnson (not that clown name Boris) deserves no less than a clouded cavern of shame.  And yet I know people who think his downfall was some sort of traitor like act and he was the saviour of the UK. Err, sorry peeps, you are so wrong it is laughable. In the same way that he laughed at us all the way through his tenure.

If we allow Johnson to claim the credit for vaccine roll-out, he must also be held responsible for the £37 billion test and trace shambles. Let's not forget as well the PPE procurement process, with the VIP fast-track lane that facilitated cronyism and corruption. The National Audit Office found the fast-track access to contracts saw billions spent without safeguards and much of the PPE supply was unusable. When you consider the totality of Johnson's sins - not just the habitual mendacity but also the corruption, the cronyism, the utter lack of respect for either law or convention, the sheer incompetence and the profligacy - it is unbelievable that anyone can still be enamoured of him.

Robert, I don't think it fair to blame him for trying to do the right thing at a time of urgency, there is only one thing he did misjudge and that wastrusting others with funds for the street changes not so much the cycle lanes but messing up the transport re: access as well.
