Oxford Tube or train question

I’m planning a day trip to Oxford on a Tuesday and wondering about using the Oxford Tube service, boarding at Holland Park, Royal Crescent.  This potentially seems more convenient than the alternatives but I’d welcome advice.  Would I need to book?  Is the service reliable?  Cost or speed don’t matter to me.  I’d welcome thoughts from anyone familiar with the service and alternatives.

All my experience is pre-Covid but the Oxford tube was generally better than the alternatives. You could sometimes make the train journey easier using a service that stopped at Ealing but if travel time doesn't matter to you then the coach is better. The drop off is on the High Street and the service is very regular.

I used the Oxford Tube  for a day return for the first time a few weeks ago . It is very reliable and the 94 bus takes you straight from Chiswick to Royal Crescent too. I booked in advance and showed the confirmation to the driver who issued the tickets. I intend to use it again in a few weeks time.

We've used this several times. The pickup in Shepherds Bush is very convenient and it drops off and picks up in similarly convenient locations in the centre of Oxford. It's much cheaper that the train and when we used it we just turned up and got on the next service.
