In my experience, most opticians will repair glasses. It's worth dropping in to one and asking.

It could be worth asking a non-chain though they, too, might be fussy about the type of repair that is needed.

I buy in packs of five from Amazon. £2 each, so, while they may not be the most sophisticated product, they do the job and any lost glasses don't matter, and I can leave them in different places in the house.

I’m curious about what kind of repair is needed. In my experience all that ever goes wrong with specs is that screws need tightening and I have a specialised screw driver that hangs on a key ring and easily sorts this out. And, as noted, cheap and cheerful reading glasses are easily available.
