I doubt it. Much of the development is taking place on sites that used to be car parks. There is no parking at the Empire House development and very little, if any, at the other sites.I was told that if you have a business registered in the area you can get a premium business parking permit which allows you to park anywhere in the borough for over a grand but I'm sceptical that the council would allow someone just to register a company in a new block of flats and buy a permit on that basis. The kind of people spending £800,000 on a flat would jump at the opportunity if it was available.
