Vacuum cleaner servicing

Anyone know of a local vacuum cleaner servicing centre? My Vax is not working very well at present, but I'm loath to get a new one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The Repair Shop in Mattock  Lane, off Northfield Road in Ealing is recommended.Check if open and not on holiday. "Has been 54 years in the business"

Also known as EDAS on St John's Parade just around the corner from the chemist and fruit and veg - no packaging shop on Mattock Lane.We've used him for years but was closed last time I passed.http://www.1standforemost.co.uk/But also try troubleshooting using your type of vacuum on the internet.

Give him a call on 020 8579 0990  The guy is brilliant with vacuums. That said, Vax's are really easy to service yourself if it's the canister type and spares and fitting guides are all over the internet.

I popped into that8 fine Hoover Repair Shop today (St Johns Parade/ Mattock Lane )to donate to the Proprietor some vintage,unused and in original packaging Electolux bags that were no longer needed!(decluttering is fun!).I was sad to hear that the whole parade of shops is to be demolished by the landlord to increase wealth by building flats.'Can't Ealing Council step in a save these valuable services?" "They're not interested Sir". That Abba song comes to mind again.. Money,Money,Money.
