Staveley Road exemption, driving another vehicle

Hi all, I have looked on the numerous threads for this, but alas, couldn't find an answer. I borrowed a car, as mine was broken. I live in Grove Park and am exempt from Staveley Road restrictions. The owner of the borrowed car has received a penalty notice from Hounslow after I drove down Staveley. Has anybody had any luck with appealing these as a registered resident? ie driving another vehicle.Thanks!

Sorry to hear this.  It is another sad example of the failings of these undemocratic schemes.  Go to Chiswick Appeals - you can find a link online.  Do appeal.  Make sure all the local Councillors know. In essence it is the same issue as getting a temporary parking permit for a replacement vehicle, which you can do online.  Send a copy to the Traffic Department at Hounslow.

Good luck.imho you would need to at least email/advise them of the reg number when borrowing and before the ticket, otherwise any resident could try it and get their friend etc, off a ticket.

Just seen a print out of an email from LBH Traffic sent to a friend early June 2022, saying it’s operational next year. I’ve asked him to share a copy to the appeals web site.
