Advice re Queuing for Wimbledon - General Entry

I've arranged to meet a friend at the tennis championships on either the 1st Monday or the 1st Tuesday.  Sadly, neither of us have tickets, so we'll need to queue and buy them for general admission on the day. Does anyone know whether we'll have to get there really early or if we arrive at, say, 11am, we'll get in within an hour or two?Thanks!

You’ll need to arrive by around 5am to have any chance of tickets on the day.  If you arrive at 11 you can join the queue for the next day.  Check out the official guide  https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/atoz/queueing.html

Hi Phil, Wimbledon resell unwanted/returned ballot tickets via their own website @ https://ticketsale.wimbledon.comAt the moment there are tickets available for Monday 27th on Court 1, 2 and 3 but be quick as in the past few months tickets listed there have been snapped up within a few minutes of listing.Hope this helps.

Thanks Barry, I hadn't realised they'd joined the digital age in respect of tickets.  I see what you mean about it being fast moving - so far it's very reminiscent of applying for elusive London 2012 tickets!
