533 Bus

Fantastic news. The 533 bus stops are to be reinstated on 16th July. Victory for common sense.

Indeed. TFL making it hard to get on buses. You can't really make some things up.

Have I got this wrong?I thought TfL were making it easier to get on buses with this particular change. If so, sounds like some common sense prevailed.

I think Bill was referring to the decision that has now been overturned.

Thank you Homefields Ward Councillor John Todd and GLA member Nick Rogers for putting pressure on TFL to get the 533 to stop along the Chiswick part of the A316 again.

Seems very unlikely the route would be removed while Hammersmith Bridge remains closed.However, if you really want to be cynical you could say this move is more a reflection of congestion on the A316 which meant introducing more stops has little impact on schedules. It would be interesting to know if the reduction in overall regularity is due to the extra stops or fewer vehicles now serving the route.
