Foam on garden llants should be reported
A deadly plant disease spreading through species in Europe has led to calls from scientists for the public to report a common phenomenon in their gardens.A foam like substance that resembles spittle often forms on plants in the spring and summer and researchers at the University of Sussex are asking the public to help them track it, as it's linked to a bacterial disease which it is feared could find its way to the UK from mainland Europe.
