I've recently developed a painful stiff knee problem and I think it might benefit from physiotherapy. Can anyone recommend an effective physiotherapist in the Chiswick area?

Do you have plenty of vitamin C it helps to build cartilage which protects the bones in your knee joints, just thought I would mention before you spend out for physio.

At the risk of stating the obvious, your GP should be able to refer you.

What is the wait now for GP referrals for physio though? A friend recovering after release from hospital has had to wait months. He was managing to get some in rehab hospital but they were very short staffed.

I went online to book an appointment with my GP, but it said that there were currently no slots available, so I thought it might be quicker just to go and see a physiotherapist, hence my request for recommendations.

Can I recommend glucosamine and chondroitin. Not instead of physio, but it’s really helped with my arthritis and I recommend it to a lot of people , almost all find it very effective

Also recommend Glucosamine for Arthritis - also the Physios at West Middx. are excellent - the bit between the GP referral and the appointment can be a drag but well worth the wait.

I have no hesitation in also recommending Nathan Carter. If I still lived in Chiswick I would definitely be seeing him at the moment… I believe he now has an office on the High Road.
