I am sure the record turn out of 800 constabulary at the Bus stop in Hounslow Sunday afternoon will ensure any potential hooliganism is kept under control.As a local resident, and when trouble could be brewing, it is comforting to have a large police presence as opposed to have them wasting taxpayers money investigating naughty Tory booze-ups at events long gone.I believe the vast majority of travelling fans are good natured, but whose reputation is stained by pockets of mainly young, sometimes vicious louts.Some five or six years ago I happened to be seated in Carvassos in Chiswick, next to half a dozen middle aged supporters who had travelled down from Leeds to see their team play an evening game against the Bees. They were intelligent, interesting and passionate about their team.They downed their drinks abruptly and left the premises when I said they might get held up at Chiswick roundabout on the way to Griffin Park, and miss the kick off.These supporters typified for me the vast majority of football fans.
