Will removed trees on Fauconberg Rd be replaced?

There was a previous thread about removing trees on Fauconberg Rd.RE: Removing historic mature London Planes on Fauconberg RdWith all the promises to plant more trees, I was hoping the removed trees would be replaced.   Today I noticed they had tarmacked over the area, making it harder to do any planting. A few years back they removed a tree on that road, tarmacked it and put a bike stand there, and it's never been replaced. Does anyone here know the plans? Will they eventually be replaced?Mark

There is more info on the other threads.  The trees were diseased, hollow and had fungal growth.  It's better not to replace them in exactly the same place.  Please everyone don't just walk past newly planted saplings when they are struggling with lack of rainfall without doing something.  Fix My Street in Hounslow is the place to go and last  time I contacted the tree people for Ealing the email was trees@ealing.gov.uk.

"Just googled on what you mentioned:https://blog.davey.com/2018/04/is-it-ok-to-plant-a-tree-in-the-same-spot/That certainly complicates things :( I hope we eventually do get replacements and the council has a plan to keep the road tree lined.Maybe for each large tree they remove, they should plant two smaller  ones either side of it :)
