"The post code on the envelope sent out to residents had a return postcode of TW3 3EB"Some of them might have but not mine which must have meant that the council had 2 or more print runs which seems poor practice. My envelope was printed TW3 9TD, being that of the old council offices. However, the electoral office advised me there is no one at the old council offices to accept delivery and that the Post Office would return it to sender, being myself. How they could do that without opening the envelope I don't know.As an aside, but very annoying to me, all this came to light because I was driving to the post code yesterday to deliver the envelope, putting the post code into my sat nav. It would not have been out of my way at all, except for it sending me to the wrong address. I had only minutes to spare before they closed. Would I be right in thinking the council offices no longer have a letterbox?
