They will continue to denigrate and attack and belittle. But make no mistake, the Met see a crumb that ticks a box. And the more crumbs left the more momentum builds, the more evidence to present for when the time comes.Someone mentioned something related regarding the duty of care LBH and TfL have to all road users. Eventually the day will come when an ace solicitor will get the job done and they will eventually have the accountants and insurers joining in. Seat belt law ring a bell? It will be the same for cyclists. If you put ignorant people on the road and they are not required to learn the rules of engagement and they disregard or do not know what a yield sign means at a pedestrian crossing, is that their fault or that of the governing bodies? If a whiz bang 8-year old cyclist crashes into an elderly woman causing irreparable harm or worse, who's to blame?
